It is important that your NaviNet Security Officer reviews your Aetna provider list in NaviNet to ensure that your office receives the appropriate Care Considerations.
Don't forget to add physicians and clinicians as NaviNet users
Point them to the Physician and Clinician Resource Center. Speak with your NaviNet Security Officer about adding new users!

Get access to Aetna Personal Health Records
Your office's NaviNet Security Officer will grant user access to electronic PHRs by enabling the Personal Health Record transaction. Ask your Security Officer for access today.
View a PHR via NaviNet
There are two ways you can view a PHR via NaviNet.
From Aetna Plan Central:
When initiated by an Eligibility Inquiry:
View, print, share
Some offices find the most effective way to manage electronic PHRs is for NaviNet users to print and share them with the physician or clinician by putting them in the patient chart.
Add physicians and clinicians as NaviNet users
Providers can view PHRs via NaviNet, too. Direct them to the Physician and Clinician Resource Center or print and share the Aetna PHR Overview for additional information about the value of PHR via NaviNet. Speak with your NaviNet Security Officer about adding new users.
Ask your patients to share their PHR
Encourage your patients to share their PHR. Direct them to Aetna Navigator, the Aetna member website to grant permission for physicians and their authorized office staff to view the PHR via NaviNet.
